Inn2POWER – Supporting companies in the offshore wind and green hydrogen sectors
The Inn2POWER (Innovation to Push Offshore Wind Energy Regions) project has brought together the forces of nine partners across four countries in the North Sea Region (NSR): the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. It has been driven by the vision to strengthen the North Sea regions through expanding the capacity for innovation and improving access to the offshore wind industry and green hydrogen for SMEs.
It will do this through the Inn2POWER Company Directory, which strives to grant easy access to test and demonstration facilities and improve knowledge, skills and availability of qualified staff.
Opergy, together with Hydrogen East, has led the UK’s involvement in Inn2POWER, collaborating on the Green Hydrogen State of the Nation Reports, producing both a UK-centric version, as well as an overview of each of the State of the Nation reports produced by the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, each mapping out their respective green hydrogen landscapes. The reports provide the latest state of affairs regarding green hydrogen policy, projects, infrastructure and ecosystem developments in the partner countries.
The overview report seeks to introduce some of the overarching issues discussed in each report, while also exploring the proposed European Hydrogen Backbone in-depth and looking at how it could impact the countries involved within Inn2POWER.
